Philippe Loudjani received a Ph.D. in Plant physiology and ecology from Paris-Orsay University (France), and joined the Joint Research Centre in 2000. He has been working primarily on crop yield modelling and forecast. He has expertise in the use of remote sensing imagery in agriculture and environmental domains. He has been contributing to many and diverse projects (crop yield forecasting, illegal dumping site identification, land cover changes in EU coastal zones, pan Europeanland cover mapping, environmental impact assessment of mining activities …).
