Bart Beusen, MSc in Bioscience Engineering (KU Leuven, Belgium, 2000) and Artificial Intelligence (2004), is senior scientist in remote sensing image processing. He has been working for VITO since 2004 on a variety of topics including sustainable mobility and demand response in smart grids. In 2015 he became part of the VITO Remote Sensing team with a strong focus on using deep learning for computer vision applied to remote sensing imagery.
