Rodrigo Daudt received his Ph.D. from Institut Polytechnique de Paris / Télécom Paris in 2020. He now works as a scientific assistant at ETH Zurich’s EcoVision Lab. His work focuses on developing computer vision and machine learning methods to solve applied problems in remote sensing with the goal of having a positive impact in the world. This work currently consists of topics such as mapping snow depth in the Swiss Alps with high spatial and temporal resolution, and accurately mapping vulnerable populations to support humanitarian actions.
