Seppe is a PhD researcher working on ‘Detection and attribution of trends in global wildfire activity via machine learning’ at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). After his BSc and MSc in Geology at Ghent University, he continued his studies in Applied Computer Science at VUB. Here, Seppe specialized in ‘Environmental Informatics’ and found his passion for AI. Seppe is driven by combining AI and Earth Science, and is always happy to spread his passion over to others.
