Xavier Neyt received a master in engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1994, a postgraduate degree in Signal Processing from the Université de Liège in 2004 and a PhD in Applied Science from the Royal Military Academy (RMA) and the Université de Liège in 2008. In 1995 he received the Frerichs Award from the ULB and the special IBM grant from the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research. Since then he has been working as research engineer for the Royal Military Academy, Belgium. He is now full professor at the Communication, Information, Systems and Sensors department of the Royal Military Academy. His research interests are signal processing, radar remote sensing, array processing, bistatic radars and image processing.
